The popular Green Fayre is held every year at the beginning of June in court hey park and attended by thousands of people.
This unique environmental event with information and free entertainment for all the family has become a well loved annual event in the North West calendar. The 2010 event entertained and delighted visitors with a farmers market, eco activities, arts and entertainment including live music, circus shows and the latest advice on environmental issues. There was also organic food, and a free park and ride service to and from the event. 10,000 people visited in 2010.
